Really love the wings. Is that a stinger on his tail?

A hardened piece, almost like another talon. Thanks. How are you looking on your writing?

NaNo’s going great! Tomorrow I’ll finish it. Only need 5000 more words. Everything else…not so good. Even my role playing story has suffered. But things will be back on track shortly, which is nice.

Is your Demon Wrought set story in your therian world? And when will your book be coming out? I’m excited about it. 😉

It is set in Delphia as well. I plan to link the events of both stories. I am nervous about publishing. It is foreign to.

A good way to get un-nervous about publishing is to learn. Check out blogs on self-publishing, even if you don’t want to go that route, just to see how accessible it is. Ask lots of questions on blogs. Every blogger welcomes comments.

And check out local writing groups. I live in Emmett, ID. There aren’t many writers in Emmett but just over the hill in the Boise area I’ve found five different groups that meet once a month [Not that I attend each one, we all still need to focus on our writing 😉 ]. Some charge you to be a member and some don’t but it’s good to have even a little support in person. Try each one out you can find until you come upon one that you like. And it’s a great place to ask questions about publishing for those who have been there. I prefer that to reading blogs myself.

Also if you can find a local or semi-local writing conference that covers self-publishing, or how to get published (And doesn’t drain your life’s savings.) that is great too. Even though these can be a little spendy they can be worth it. I have only one such event that I have personally experienced. But if any others are as good as the Idaho Book Extravaganza (, then they should be worth it. These are also great places to meet people who have been down the publishing road and survived. You’ll see people you’ll want to mimic and question. Then you’ll see people that you’ll think did it wrong and be able to take notes of how not to do it.

Above all have Confidence. You have a good story. You have a deep world. You have the ability. This blog is a testament to that. You can do it, and God will help.
And I’m always here to throw my infinitely small amount of information at you too. 🙂 Upon request of course.
